Block Party at San Diego Comic Con
Before this event I had never worked with 8-bit or 16-bit art. After this event I never wanted to work with 8-bit or 16-bit art again. Just kidding. But it was a very steep learning curve and while the more detailed pieces were made by an illustrator we were on our own for assembly and creating other smaller pieces. In the end, 50ish branded pieces were made by yours truly and the art director on the project. Below is a brief overview.

Staten Island Museum Exhibit
I created a postcard (below) advertising the opening of the Impractical Jokers exhibit at the Staten Island Museum along with signage used outside the museum and within the exhibit. The postcard design was so well received that they also created t-shirts with it.

I came up with this layout after discovering we had painted portraits of the guys from another project. I then used stock images to add the frames and create the environment around it.

Key Art
__________________________________________________________________

Each season of a show has a look and feel all it's own that is represented by a piece of 'key art'. This artwork is then used to create everything from an iTunes Store thumbnail image to on-air graphics. I had a chance to create and update a couple pieces of key arts.

I updated the key art for Late Night Snack by creating a bowl of tomato soup, adding in the crackers and then changing the background color.

I changed the brick wall from white to blue and switched out the day time colors for a sunset behind the talent.
