THE ASK
Budsfeed is a burgeoning one-stop-shop site for cannabis-related material and they needed help growing their brand.
THE IDEA
Execute a rebrand using new layouts and color palette, create exciting and engaging social media content, and launch the brand on a new platform.
Make Some Space
To create a cleaner and more cohesive look I reduced the amount of colors used and utilized white space with simple details throughout each layout. These new guidelines were applied to the weekly email newsletter banners and social media content.
Additional headers I created for the weekly newsletters.
I also created templates for reoccurring posts.
Show Me Your Moves
Animated stickers, or gifs as the kids call them, are quite popular on Instagram and Budsfeed wanted in on the game. I animated a series of gifs to launch their profile on Giphy and within a week we had over 138k views along with a ton of usage on Instagram.
Social Media Content
Prior to the brand refresh I also created fun and engaging content for Budsfeed’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram channels.
Video Work
Budsfeed partnered with industry brands to create unboxing videos. I created the thumbnail image, the onscreen graphics, and the animated end card.
